Environmental Policy
Clean energy is the product. This is how we handle our own footprint.

1. Why this exists
To empower communities and businesses by harnessing the abundant energy of the sun. Selling clean energy while handling waste carelessly would undercut the point of the work.
This policy sets out how we deal with the material side of the business.
2. Equipment and longevity
We specify Tier-1 components because a system that lasts decades is the single largest environmental saving available to us. Replacing cheap hardware every few years wastes both money and material.
Systems are sized to real measured load, so we are not over-building arrays that will never be fully used.
3. Waste and packaging
Packaging, offcuts and cable waste are removed from site rather than left behind, and separated for recycling where a route exists.
4. Batteries and end-of-life equipment
Lithium storage and lead-acid batteries must never go into general waste. We take back batteries and modules we have supplied at end of life and route them to appropriate handlers.
If you are decommissioning a system we did not install, contact us and we will advise on safe disposal.
5. Our own operations
We keep site visits efficient and combine journeys where possible, since vehicle movement is the largest part of our own direct footprint.
